Wexford Tidy Towns are working away aiming always to make Wexford a cleaner, greener and more attractive town. Well done to everyone who took part in the WEEE recycling day at the start of February in Tesco and recycled your old electronics. Responsible recycling is important in the community and we actively encourage it. We will be holding other recycling collections in the future. We would also like to remind you about the fantastic facility we have in Holmestown which takes a huge variety of recyclable materials.
Wexford Tidy Towns will be doing some planting around the town in the next few weeks and in the coming months Wexford in Bloom will be back flowering up our Town. We are continuing to promote the Green Dog Walkers Project. Get in touch with us if you would like sign up to show you are a responsible dog owner and help us combat the continuing problem of dog fouling in our town.
We also will be restarting our evening cleanups from 6pm to 7.30pm on weekday evenings as it stays brighter for longer. The days will depend on how many volunteers we get. If you would like to be involved in these cleanups or any of our activities get in touch with your contact information. We would be delighted to have some new people along with our fantastic regulars. We are always looking for more volunteers, the more we have the more we can do.
