Love Redmond Park has their Annual Picnic in the Park taking place on the last Sunday of August from 2pm – 5pm. It is a great day out for all the family. For the younger folk it gives an opportunity to milk the last little bit out of the Summer before settling back into school mode. Format is same as last year with arts zone, puppet show, obstacle races with Menapians AC, football skills with The Vols (GAA) and Wexford Celtic (soccer), live music with The Ocelots and others, Bui Bolg’s super-sized BENCH, hoola-hoops and more. MC is DJ Cullie. Hot and cold drinks and ice cream served.
The most important thing, however, is you! Bring a picnic basket and a rug and enjoy a relaxed afternoon in Wexford’s favourite little park.
